What you need while staying at luxury game lodge accommodation

Because of the unrelenting nature of the African sun it is always advisable to bring ample supplies of sun hats, sunscreen and sunglasses. Even during the winter months the thermometer rarely dips below 20°C during the day. For the nights, bring a warm jacket and some long pants.

If you are brave enough to experience Africa in summer make sure to bring insect repellent for when you go on game drives.

Malaria isn’t really a problem in this area, but it may depend on the rainfall for the previous season. If you are unsure contact us and we will inform you about the risk. Pregnant women and children are advised to consult their healthcare practitioner to make sure they are protected.
